Thanks Werner! Yes, please get in touch with Kris Constable as he's given us the use of the CPLawnBowling club space. It would be nice to get few more people involved in organization of the event instead of just 1 or 2 individuals. Lets sort out the details later this week!

Thanks for volunteering! :)

Hi Mark,

I'd gladly help and even MC it if I need to.

If so, I would need all relevant information and contacts beforehand.

Please let me know and maybe we can hook up beforehand.

You know what really makes us look bad? Edmonton, AB has one of the best recycling programs in the world. Edmonton, for god's sake - The home of many head offices for oil digging, oil sands, and one of the largest redneck populations in Canada. It's humiliating to look at Victoria and realize how really behind our eco-practices are.
How hard could it be for every Canadian city to use a successful model from an accessible city and implement it?

Hey Mark

can you direct me to anywhere that confirms that Canadian developers can bypass the horrible tax registration stuff as you described in the second paragraph?

The Apple rumor mill is once again running overtime on the topic of netbooks. If you believe the reports, Steve Jobs is himself leading the charge. My take: Whatever Apple does, it won

It's amazing how Mozilla products are getting popular and popular these days. And it's not so suprizing (to me) if this is related with social change toward openness, not only on the web, but in the actual world.
